Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Development of North Eastern Region, MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh said that the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) Mussorie had started conducting “Combined” Foundation Course by enlarging the spectrum of this course, which earlier included only IAS and a few other Services. For the first time, the Academy was conducting a “Combined” Foundation Course by including over 20 different Services from the government sector.
He said, in future, an attempt will be made to further enlarge the spectrum of Foundation Course by including other Services also. This is in keeping with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to come out of a state of silos and, instead, develop a common perspective and a common vision for all functionaries, across the services.
Addressing the 61st Foundation Day celebration of the Academy Through video conferencing, Dr Jitendra Singh said, that the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration is one of the premier institutes not only in the Indian subcontinent, but in the entire world. He said that an era spanning six decades is a significant time in the history of an Institution and the way Academy has evolved over the years bears ample testimony to the sweat, toil and vision of those who have nurtured it.
Extending his felicitations to the entire fraternity of the Academy under the leadership of Dr Sanjeev Chopra, an erudite scholar and administrator, he congratulated the Academy for delivering out of box solutions much ahead of deadlines, for designing all-inclusive training and pedagogical techniques, for embracing state of the art Technology, for making a social and ecological impact while leaving behind a set of best practices in every domain. He expressed satisfaction that the Academy is continuously training the Pioneers to fight the future challenges.
The Minister also referred to Prime Minister’s two-day visit to LBSNAA in 2017, where he had extensively interacted with Officer Trainees of 92nd Foundation Course and gave them the mantra of coming out of silos and focussing on the theme of constant learning. He said, to fulfil this novel thought, the Union Cabinet recently passed Mission Karmayogi-a National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB), which he said will go a long way in creating a new future ready civil service for a New India. He said, it is an endeavour to incarnate civil services into a real Karmayogi who is Creative, Constructive, Proactive and Technically Empowered to face the future challenges. The Union Cabinet also passed NRA recently for ease of aspiring candidates, but Mission Karmayogi harps on constant learning after one has joined the services, he added.
Dr. Jitendra Singh released a Publication- a compilation of articles on lesser known Heroes of Freedom Movement on the occasion.
केंद्रीय अल्पसंख्यक कार्य मंत्री मुख्तार अब्बास नकवी ने कहा कि मोदी सरकार द्वारा धारा-370 हटाए जाने से जम्मू-कश्मीर और लद्दाख के विकास में बाधक बने तमाम कानून भी खत्म हो गए और इस क्षेत्र के विकास की रफ्तार पर लगा “स्पीड ब्रेकर” ध्वस्त हो गया है। नकवी ने दावा किया कि केंद्र सरकार की विभिन्न आर्थिक, शैक्षणिक विकास योजनाओं व कार्यक्रमों का लाभ जम्मू-कश्मीर, लेह-कारगिल के लोगों को मिलना शुरू हो गया है।
लेह के दो दिवसीय दौरे पर पहुंचे नकवी ने लेह, साबू-थांग, शुकोट शमा, शुकोट गोंगमा, फ्यांग आदि का दौरा कर विभिन्न सामाजिक संगठनों के प्रतिनिधियों से भेंट एवं प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों के साथ विकास योजनाओं की समीक्षा की। इस दौरान उनके साथ स्थानीय सांसद जामियांग शेरिंग नामग्याल भी उपस्थित थे।
नकवी ने कहा कि 2019 में धारा-370 हटाए जाने के बाद से जम्मू-कश्मीर और लेह-कारगिल में विकास की “राजनैतिक एवं कानूनी अड़चने” खत्म हुई है और विकास का चौमुखी समावेशी माहौल बना है। उन्होंने कहा कि जम्मू-कश्मीर, लेह-कारगिल में प्रशासनिक, भूमि, आरक्षण आदि सुधार हुए हैं। केंद्र सरकार के 890 कानून लागू हो गए हैं। राज्य के 164 कानून खत्म किये गए हैं। 138 कानूनों में सुधार किया गया है। सरकारी नौकरियों में आरक्षण व्यवस्था में सुधार कर अधिक से अधिक जरूरतमंदों को लाभ पहुँचाया गया है।
75 हजार से ज्यादा युवाओं को रोजगारपरक कौशल विकास की ट्रेनिंग मुहैया कराई गई है। 50 नए कॉलेज स्थापित किये जा रहे हैं। वर्तमान में जो कॉलेज हैं उनमे 1 वर्ष में 25 हजार नयी सीटें बढ़ाई गयी हैं। लाखों छात्र-छात्राओं को विभिन्न स्कॉलरशिप्स दी गई हैं। लद्दाख में 1 नए मेडिकल कॉलेज व 1 इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज की स्थापना की जा रही है। लेह में नेशनल स्किल ट्रेनिंग इंस्टिट्यूट की स्थापना की जा रही है। हजारों रिक्त पड़ी सरकारी नौकरियों को भरने की प्रक्रिया शुरू हो गई है। 35 हजार से ज्यादा स्कूल टीचर्स को नियमित कर दिया गया है। 500 करोड़ रूपए से ज्यादा कंस्ट्रक्शन मजदूरों, पिट्ठूवाला, रेहड़ी वालों, महिलाओं को आर्थिक गतिविधियों के लिए दिए गए हैं। जम्मू, कश्मीर, लद्दाख को “इन्वेस्टमेंट हब” बनाने की दिशा में कदम उठाए गए हैं। ग्लोबल इन्वेस्टमेंट सम्मिट से 14 हजार करोड़ रूपए का निवेश आया है।
नकवी ने कहा कि जम्मू-कश्मीर, लद्दाख के सभी निवासियों को स्वास्थ्य बीमा मुहैया कराया गया है। आयुष्मान भारत का लाभ 30 लाख से ज्यादा लोगों को दिया गया है। कोरोना काल में 17 विशेष अस्पताल, 60 हजार नए बेड की व्यवस्था की गई है। कोरोना के चलते देश-विदेश में फंसे जम्मू, कश्मीर, लद्दाख के 2 लाख 50 हजार से ज्यादा लोगों को वापस उनके घर पहुंचाया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि केंद्रीय अल्पसंख्यक कार्य मंत्रालय ने जम्मू-कश्मीर और लेह-लद्दाख में बड़े पैमाने पर विकास कार्यों की रुपरेखा बनाई है।
Union Health Ministry has noted that in some States, symptomatic negative cases tested by Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) are not being followed up by RT-PCT testing.
The Guidelines of ICMR as well as the Union Health Ministry clearly state that the following two specific categories of persons must necessarily be retested through RT-PCR tests:
All symptomatic (fever or cough or breathlessness) negative cases of Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT). Asymptomatic negative cases of RAT that develop symptoms within 2 to 3 days of being tested negative.
In this background, the Union Health Ministry and ICMR have jointly written to all the States/UTs and urged them to ensure that the all symptomatic negative cases of RAT are mandatorily retested using the RT-PCR test. This is necessary to ensure that such symptomatic negative cases do not remain untested and do not spread the disease among their contacts. This will also ensure early detection and isolation/hospitalization of such false negatives. It has also been reiterated in the joint letter that while the RAT is being used to increase access and availability of testing in the field, RT-PCR remains the gold standard of COVID tests.
The Union Health Ministry has also urged the States/UTs to urgently establish a monitoring mechanism in every district (a designated officer or a team) and at the State level to follow up such cases. These teams shall analyse details of RAT conducted on a daily basis in the Districts and State and ensure that there are no delays in retesting of all symptomatic negative cases. The aim of States/UTs should be to ensure that no potentially positive case is missed out. They have also been advised to undertake an analysis on a regular basis to monitor the incidence of positives during the RT-PCR tests conducted as a follow up.
उत्तराखंड भाजपा ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के 70 वें जन्मदिन को सेवा सप्ताह के रूप में मनाने की तैयारियां शुरू कर दी हैं। इस क्रम में बुधवार को पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय सह-महामंत्री (संगठन) शिव प्रकाश ने वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से प्रदेश भाजपा के पदाधिकारियों, सांसदों, मंत्रियों, विधायकों, सरकार में विभिन्न निगमों-बोर्डों के अध्यक्ष व उपाध्यक्षों और संगठन के जिलाध्यक्षों के साथ वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से संवाद स्थापित किया।
राष्ट्रीय सह-महामंत्री (संगठन) शिव प्रकाश ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने राजनीति में एक नये युग की शुरुआत की है। मोदी ने विकासपरक राजनीति की अवधारणा को जन्म दिया है और राजनीति को समाज सेवा से जोड़ कर उसमें गुणात्मक परिवर्तन करके दिखाया है।
उन्होंने कहा कि 17 सितम्बर को प्रधानमंत्री मोदी का 70 वां जन्मदिवस है। उनके जन्मदिवस को देखते हुए भाजपा ने 14 से 20 सितंबर तक सेवा सप्ताह के रूप में मनाने का निर्णय लिया है। इस दौरान प्रदेश से लेकर जिला, मंडल व बूथ स्तर तक कोविड-19 के मानकों का पालन करते हुए कार्यक्रम आयोजित करने हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि सेवा सप्ताह के प्रथम दिन दिव्यांगों को कृत्रिम अंग वितरण, दूसरे दिन गरीबों व अस्पतालों में मरीजों को फल वितरण, तीसरे दिन भाजपा युवा मोर्चा की ओर से रक्तदान व प्लाज्मा डोनेशन कैम्प लगाकर कोरोना की लड़ाई में सहभाग करने का कार्यक्रम आयोजित करने को कहा। सप्ताह के चौथे दिन वृक्षारोपण, पांचवे दिन प्लास्टिक मुक्त पर्यावरण, छठे दिन स्वच्छता कार्यक्रम और अंतिम दिन मोदी सरकार की उपलब्धियों का सोशल मीडिया के माध्यम से जनता में व्यापक प्रचार-प्रसार के लिए योजना बनाकर क्रियान्वित करने को कहा।
इसके साथ उन्होंने 25 सितम्बर को एकात्म मानववाद के प्रणेता पं. दीनदयाल उपाध्याय की जयंती को बूथ स्तर पर तक आयोजित किए जाने की बात कही। उन्होंने बताया कि पार्टी ने पं. दीनदयाल उपाध्याय की जयंती 25 सितम्बर से महात्मा गांधी व लाल बहादुर शास्त्री की जयंती 2 अक्टूबर तक आत्मनिर्भर भारत सप्ताह के रूप में मनाने का निर्णय लिया है। इसके लिए उन्होंने कार्यक्रमों की रूपरेखा बनाकर प्रदेश भर में कार्यक्रम आयोजित करने को कहा। उन्होंने कहा कि इन सभी कार्यक्रमों में कार्यकर्ताओं से लेकर विधायक,सांसद व मंत्रियों तक की सक्रिय भूमिका सुनिश्चित होनी चाहिए ।
इस अवसर पर प्रदेश महामंत्री (संगठन) अजेय कुमार ने पार्टी के आगामी कार्यक्रमों की रूपरेखा पर विस्तार से चर्चा की और सभी कार्यकर्ताओं से कार्यक्रमों की सफलता के लिए जुटने की अपील की।
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के समक्ष बुधवार को वीडियो कांफ्रेंसिग द्वारा श्री बदरीनाथ धाम के प्रस्तावित मास्टर प्लान का प्रस्तुतीकरण किया गया। साथ ही श्री केदारनाथ धाम के पुनर्निर्माण कार्यों की प्रगति की जानकारी भी प्रधानमंत्री को दी गई। इस अवसर पर प्रधानमंत्री ने निर्देश दिए कि बद्रीनाथ धाम की आध्यात्मिकता व पौराणिकता बरकरार रखते हुए इसे स्पिरिचुअल सिटी के रूप में विकसित किया जाए।
वीडियो कांफ्रेंसिंग में मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेन्द्र सिंह रावत, पर्यटन मंत्री सतपाल महाराज, मुख्य सचिव ओमप्रकाश, पर्यटन सचिव दिलीप जावलकर सहित अन्य अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि श्री बदरीनाथ धाम के प्रस्तावित मास्टर प्लान में इस बात का विशेष ध्यान रखा जाए कि वहां का पौराणिक और आध्यात्मिक महत्व बना रहे। बद्रीनाथ धाम को मिनी स्मार्ट व स्पिरीचुअल सिटी के रूप में विकसित किया जाए। वहां होम स्टे भी विकसित जा सकते हैं। निकटवर्ती अन्य आध्यात्मिक स्थलों को भी इससे जोड़ा जाए। बदरीनाथ धाम के प्रवेश स्थल पर विशेष लाइटिंग की व्यवस्था हो जो आध्यात्मिक वातावरण के अनुरूप हो। मास्टर प्लान का स्वरूप पर्यटन पर आधारित न हो बल्कि पूर्ण रूप से आध्यात्मिक हो। प्रधानमंत्री ने श्री केदारनाथ धाम के पुनर्निर्माण कार्यों की भी समीक्षा की।
इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेन्द्र सिंह रावत ने कहा कि श्री बदरीनाथ धाम व श्री केदारनाथ धाम के विकास कार्यों में स्थानीय लोगों का सहयोग मिल रहा है। निकटवर्ती गांवों में होम स्टे पर काम किया जा रहा है। सरस्वती व अलकनंदा के संगम स्थल केशवप्रयाग को भी विकसित किया जा सकता है। बदरीनाथ धाम में व्यास व गणेश गुफा का विशेष महत्व है। इनके पौराणिक महत्व की जानकारी भी श्रद्धालुओं को मिलनी चाहिए। बदरीनाथ धाम के मास्टर प्लान पर काम करने में भूमि की समस्या नहीं होगी। केदारनाथ की तरह बद्रीनाथ में भी 12 महीने कार्य किए जाएंगे।
पर्यटन मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने कहा कि ऋषिकेश-कर्णप्रयाग रेल परियोजना और चारधाम राजमार्ग परियोजना पर तेजी से काम चल रहा है। इससे श्रद्धालुओं के लिए चारधाम यात्रा काफी सुविधाजनक हो जाएगी।
श्री बदरीनाथ धाम के मास्टर प्लान का प्रस्तुतीकरण करते हुए अधिकारियों ने बताया कि इसमें 85 हैक्टेयर क्षेत्र लिया गया है। देवदर्शिनी स्थल विकसित किया जाएगा। एक संग्रहालय व आर्ट गैलेरी भी बनाई जाएगी। दृश्य एवं श्रव्य माध्यम से दशावतार के बारे में जानकारी दी जाएगी। बदरीनाथ मास्टर प्लान को 2025 तक पूरा करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। मास्टर प्लान को पर्वतीय परिवेश के अनुकूल बनाया गया है।
मुख्य सचिव ओमप्रकाश ने केदारनाथ धाम के पुनर्निर्माण कार्यों की प्रगति की जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि आदि शंकराचार्य जी के समाधि स्थल का काम तेजी से चल रहा है। सरस्वती घाट पर आस्था पथ का काम पूरा हो गया है। दो ध्यान गुफाओं का काम इस माह के अंत तक पूर्ण हो जाएगा। ब्रह्म कमल की नर्सरी के लिए स्थान चिन्हित कर लिया गया है। नर्सरी के लिए बीज एकत्रीकरण का कार्य किया जा रहा है। गरुड़ चट्टी में ब्रिज का पुनर्निर्माण कर लिया गया है।
सरकारी विज्ञापनों की विषयवस्तु के विनियमन के लिए उच्चतम न्यायालय द्वारा अधिकार प्राप्त समिति (Committee on Content Regulation in Government Advertising, CCRGA) की बैठक में समिति के निर्देशों का पालन न किये जाने को गंभीर मानते हुए कठोर कार्रवाई करने पर विचार किया गया। पूर्व मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ओम प्रकाश रावत की अध्यक्षता वाली समिति की बैठक में दो अन्य सदस्य एशियन फेडरेशन ऑफ एडवरटाइजिंग एसोसिएशन के रमेश नारायण और प्रसार भारती बोर्ड के अंशकालिक सदस्य अशोक कुमार टंडन उपस्थित थे।
बैठक में कहा गया कि उच्चतम न्यायालय के निर्देशों के अनुसार, केंद्र की भांति राज्यों के लिए भी सरकारी विज्ञापनों की विषयवस्तु की निगरानी के लिए तीन सदस्यीय समितियों का गठन अनिवार्य किया गया है। मगर कई राज्यों ने अपने यहाँ इस समिति का गठन नहीं किया है। विभिन राज्यों द्वारा समिति का गठन न किये जाने के तथ्य को CCRGA ने गंभीरता से लिया है।
बैठक में CCRGA का ध्यान इस ओर भी आकर्षित किया गया कि जिन राज्यों में समितियां कार्य कर रही हैं, वहां उनके पास शिकायतें आ रही हैं। मगर कई मामलों में सम्बंधित पक्षों द्वारा समितियों की ओर से भेजे गए नोटिसों का जवाब नहीं दिया जा रहा है। ऐसे मामलों में CCRGA ने कोविड महामारी की मौजूदा स्थिति को देखते हुए संबंधित पक्षों को अपना जवाब भेजने के लिए कुछ और समय देने का फैसला लिया है।
बैठक में कहा गया कि नोटिस के जवाब में अनुचित देरी की स्थिति में यदि आवश्यक हो तो समिति विज्ञापन जारी करने वाली सरकारी एजेंसी के संबंधित अधिकारी को पेश होने के लिए भी कह सकती है। चेतावनी दी गई कि CCRGA के आदेशों का पालन न करने की स्थिति में, समिति अपनी शक्तियों का इस्तेमाल कर संबंधित राज्य सरकारों की नोडल एजेंसियों पर भविष्य में विज्ञापन जारी करने पर रोक लगाने के लिए बाध्य होगी।
क्या है CCRGA ?
उच्चतम न्यायालय के निर्देशों के क्रम में भारत सरकार ने 6 अप्रैल, 2016 को सरकारी विज्ञापन एजेंसियों की ओर से सभी मीडिया प्लेटफार्मों पर जारी विज्ञापनों की विषय वस्तु पर निगरानी रखने के लिए “पूरी तरह से तटस्थत और निष्पक्ष” सोच रखने वाले तथा अपने क्षेत्र में उत्कृटता हासिल कर चुके व्यक्तियों की तीन सदस्यीय समिति का गठन किया था। इसी अनुरूप राज्य स्तर पर वहां की सरकारों द्वारा समिति गठित की जानी है।
उच्चतम न्यायालय के निर्देश थे कि सरकारी विज्ञापनों की सामग्री सरकार के संवैधानिक और कानूनी दायित्वों के साथ-साथ नागरिक अधिकारों के नजरिए से भी प्रासंगिक होनी चाहिए। विज्ञापनों की सामग्री को एक उद्देश्यपूर्ण, निष्पक्ष और सुलभ तरीके से प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए और इस तरह से डिजाइन किया जाना चाहिए ताकि वह अभियान के उद्देश्यों को पूरा करती हो। विज्ञापन सामग्री उद्देश्यपूर्ण होनी चाहिए और किसी भी प्रकार से सत्ता पक्ष के राजनीतिक हितों को बढ़ावा देने वाली नहीं होनी चाहिए। विज्ञापन अभियानों को न्यायसंगत, कुशल और प्रभावी तरीके से चलाया जाना चाहिए तथा सभी सरकारी विज्ञापन कानूनी नियमों के अनुरूप होने चाहिए और इनके लिए वित्तीय नियमों और प्रक्रियाओं का पालन करना चाहिए।
CCRGA को उच्चतम न्यायालय के दिशा-निर्देशों के उल्लंघन के संबंध में मिली जन शिकायतों को निबटाने तथा इस बारे में आवश्यकतानुसार सुझाव देने का अधिकार दिया गया है।
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी अगले सप्ताह 17 सितम्बर को 70 वर्ष के हो जायेंगे। उनके जन्मदिन को लेकर भारतीय जनता पार्टी देशभर में पूरे सप्ताह कार्यक्रम आयोजित करेगी। इसे सेवा सप्ताह नाम दिया गया है। इस दौरान पार्टी कार्यकर्त्ता विभिन्न प्रकार के सेवा कार्य चला कर प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के स्वस्थ व दीर्घायु जीवन की कामना करेंगे।
भाजपा के केंद्रीय नेतृत्व द्वारा इस सम्बन्ध में सभी राज्य इकाइयों को निर्देश जारी कर दिए गए हैं। सेवा सप्ताह के तहत विभिन्न आयोजन 14 सितम्बर से शुरू होकर 20 सितम्बर तक चलेंगे। सेवा सप्ताह के तहत भाजपा कार्यकर्त्ता दिव्यांगों को विभिन्न प्रकार के कृत्रिम अंगों व उपकरणों और गरीबों को चश्मों का वितरण करेंगे। विभिन्न स्थानों पर गरीब बस्तियों व चिकित्सालयों में फलों का वितरण, रक्तदान शिविर आयोजित किये जाएंगे। प्रत्येक बूथ पर वृक्षारोपण कर पर्यावरण सरंक्षण का संकल्प लिया जाएगा। सभी जिला मुख्यालयों में सार्वजानिक स्थानों पर स्वच्छता कार्यक्रम चलाये जाएंगे।
इसके साथ ही विभिन्न स्तरों पर प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के व्यक्तित्व व कृतित्व पर वेबिनारों का आयोजन होगा, जिनमें समाज के प्रबुद्ध नागरिकों व बुद्धिजीवियों की भागीदारी सुनिश्चित की जाएगी। भाजपा की सोशल मीडिया टीम इस दौरान प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के कार्यों व व्यक्तित्व पर स्लाइड की प्रदर्शनी बना कर सोशल मीडिया में प्रचारित – प्रसारित करेगी।
केंद्र सरकार ने विभिन्न प्रकार के मानसिक रोगियों की सहायता के लिए सातों दिन, चौबीसों घंटे (24×7) की एक टोल-फ्री मानसिक स्वास्थ्य पुनर्वास हेल्पलाइन (1800-599-0019) शुरू की है। ‘किरण’ नाम से शुरू गई यह हेल्पलाइन मानसिक रूप से बीमार व्यक्तियों को राहत और मदद उपलब्ध कराएगी। केंद्र सरकार ने विशेष रूप से कोविड-19 महामारी के कारण बढ़ती हुई मानसिक बीमारी की घटनाओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए इसे शुरू किया है।
यह हेल्पलाइन तनाव, चिंता, अवसाद, डर के झटके, नशीले पदार्थों का सेवन, आत्महत्या, महामारी से प्रेरित मनोवैज्ञानिक मुद्दों, व्यग्रता, जुनूनी बाध्यकारी विकार (ओसीडी), पैनिक अटैक समायोजन विकार, पोस्ट-ट्रोमेटिक (अभिघातजन्य) तनाव विकार आदि से संबंधित मानसिक स्वास्थ्य मुद्दों के समाधान के लिए कार्य करेगी। देश के किसी भी हिस्से से किसी भी मोबाइल या किसी लैंड लाइन से टोल फ्री नंबर 1800-599-0019 डॉयल कर मानसिक स्वास्थ्य विशेषज्ञ, क्लिनिकल मनोवैज्ञानिक अथवा मनोचिकित्सक अपनी सलाह और सुझाव देंगे। मरीजों की जानकारी गोपनीय रखी जाएगी।

इस क्रम में सोमवार को मुख्य सचिव ओम प्रकाश की अध्यक्षता में सचिवालय में टिहरी जलाशय के चारों ओर प्रस्तावित रिंग रोड के निर्माण के सम्बन्ध में बैठक हुई। बैठक में मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि यह मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेंद्र की घोषणाओं में सम्मिलित एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रोजेक्ट है। उन्होंने इस सम्बन्ध में फीजिबिलिटी स्टडी एवं वायबिलिटी स्टडी शीघ्र करवा कर रिपोर्ट सौंपने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि टिहरी झील को विश्वस्तरीय पर्यटन स्थल बनाने के लिए सभी सम्बन्धित विभागों को हर सम्भव प्रयास करने होंगे।
बैठक में सचिव पर्यटन दिलीप जावलकर ने बताया कि टिहरी बाँध जलाशय लगभग 42 वर्ग कि.मी. में विस्तारित है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रस्तावित रिंग रोड की कुल लम्बाई 234.60 कि.मी. है। टिहरी झील को देखने के लिए वर्षभर देश-विदेश से पर्यटक आते हैं। रिंग रोड के निर्माण सहित जलाशय के चारों ओर पर्यटन विकास हेतु आवश्यक मूलभूत ढांचागत सुविधाओं के विकास से इस क्षेत्र के आस-पास के कई गांव तथा आबादी क्षेत्र प्रत्यक्ष रूप से लाभान्वित होंगे। यह रिंग रोड भविष्य में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने और रोजगार के अवसर उपलब्ध कराने में कारगर सिद्ध होगी।
